The Benefits of Our Services

Non-Opening of Machinery:
Our vibration services meet Class approved Condition Monitoring (CM) to secure credits for non-opening of machinery. The cost of the "open and inspect" requirement is virtually eliminated resulting in cost saving with an estimated ROI of 10 to 1.

Class Approved PM Program:

CAC can provide an annual vibration analysis survey whererequired for an approved Planned Maintenance program.

Annual Audit:
An annual audit gives the Port Engineer a virtual view of overall machine condition to aid in the planning of the annual maintenance budget

Pre-Shipyard Inspection and Quality Control:
Survey prior to entering the shipyard will aid in planning of the maintenance dollar. Focus effort on actual machinery condition.

Post Shipyard Inspection:
Additional savings are realized in proving effective maintenance procedure were carried out. Proving or extending guarantee period.

Vessel Acquisition/New Build:
A pre-purchase survey can reveal potential problems that can be addressed at the time of acquisition.

Reduce Maintenance Costs:
Maintaining machinery based on the condition. Repair only the failing components and BEFORE a catastrophic failure that could result in extensive loss.

A Leader in Maritime Vibration Analysis Condition Monitoring

Condition Analyzing Corporation
provides our clients with the following services:

Condition Monitoring (CM) is a collection of non-invasive data gathering and analysis techniques that greatly reduce the likelihood of unplanned equipment failures while also reducing the need for expensive planned maintenance (PM) programs. . . . . . more

Vibration Analysis is an economical and effective means of reducing maintenance procedures. Causes of machinery failure exhibit unique characteristics and, as internal material conditions deteriorate, the characteristics become more pronounced. . . . . . more

Thermography (Infra Red) Survey serves as a non-destructive tool in the analysis and evaluation of electrical distribution equipment critical to the operation of the plant.  Thermographic surveys are also useful in the detection of boiler lagging deficiencies, faulty bearings, steam trap effectiveness and motor insulation. Thermography is a widely used tool in all facets of industry to measure anywhere a fault can be predicted by a temperature differential. . . . . . .more

Both Mode Shape and Operation Deflection Shape (ODS) display the vibration on a drawing or picture of a machine. Mode shape (based on the inherent resonance of a structure) can be determined if a hammer or bump test can produce those frequencies on the machine when not in use. ODS (based on the source frequencies and the resonance frequencies) can be determined from roving and reference measurements on the machine while in actual use. . . . . . more
